SUSTAINABILITY

Since its founding, Facio & Cañas has understood sustainability as a way to exercise the law with responsibility, long-term vision, and commitment to the country's development.

We promote an environment where every collaborator feels safe, respected, and valued. Since 2022, our Commission for Diversity and Inclusion has been driving policies and programs that strengthen equal opportunities, backed by the signing of the San José Declaration and our commitment to keep our offices free from discrimination.

We also extend this commitment to the most vulnerable communities. As signatories of the Pro Bono Declaration of the Americas from the Cyrus R. Vance Center, we have a volunteer program and pro bono legal services.

In the environmental sphere, we develop actions to reduce our impacts and strengthen environmental awareness within the firm. Our office in San José has been awarded the Blue Flag Ecological recognition.
