- Modesto Vargas is an experienced tax lawyer and litigator.
- He was an advisor to the Public Transportation and Projects Ministry and to the Tax Administration.
- Modesto is also a member of the Costa Rican Institute of Fiscal Studies and tax law professor at Fundepos University.
- He has been an invited speaker at the Public Accountants College, the Bar Association and the Tax and Financial Law Conferences in Argentina.
- He leaded the chapter “The Income Tax in Costa Rica” published in the Tax Magazine of the Colombian Institute of Tax Law.
